  • We had lovely homemade Mediterranean soup and bread roll with butter. Excellent. This building was originally a mill, then a house. Unfortunately, it then went on fire in the 1990s. However, it is now a lovely, friendly coffee shop / cafe with homemade cakes and scones. The original roof beans are still there, although badly burnt, it is strange now as the roof of the building is now holding up the original burnt beams from a steel structure. This is well worth a visit and handy when you visit Furness Abbey next door, which is also lovely. What a place Furness Abbey must have been in its day.

  • Lovely little cafe & nice atmosphere. Little expensive but nice, charged £3 for one small scoop of ice cream to add with cake for my elderly mother which I thought was a bit steep especially after I'd just given a £2.50 tip.

  • Cute wee coffee shop next to the ruins of the Abbey. My husband and I went there in April. We were delighted that it was dog friendly! we had coffees, a tuns melt sandwich and a salted caramel cake. The coffee and sandwich were nice but the salted caramel cake was really delicious. The cafe is in a nice spot beside the Abbey and there is plenty of green space around for walking your dog. We would definitely visit again :)
